The waves down in Newport were abnormally big a few weekends ago. This picture does not do it justice. They were crashing
amongst the rocks bigger and harder than I've ever seen. It was almost
eery. It brought crowds of hundreds down to the beach to see the gnarly waves that the news stations were raving about. Unfortunately two surfers died but that didn't stop some of the biggest names in surfing to come out and ride the waves.
Chase was more into the seaweed than the waves...
...but not when he actually tasted it!
