OC Fair

The big rave right now in Orange County is the big OC fair. Dave and I actually despise the fair - the food, the annoying people, the filth. But being that we'd never been to this fair, I thought we needed to at least give it a shot. Chase and I met our friends, Shelbie and Ryder and Mia and Addison on a sweltering hot day. Note to self - go only in the evening! Why they don't do it in the fall like the Puyallup Fair in WA is so stupid. Anyway, we gave it about an hour before I was dripping sweat and ready to go. It wasn't anything special. It was a typical fair however the food selection was beyond anything I had ever seen. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING is deep fried!!! Fried Oreos, fried pickles...gut wrenching and disgusting. The topper though - a chocolate covered hot dog!!!!!!!!!! What the heck!?!?!

This one made me laugh because growing up as a kid whenever we'd ask my mom what was for dinner, she'd always reply "fried frog legs!" Ewwww.....
